Grease a 9 x 13-inch pan.
Spread applesauce in pan.
Dump in crushed pineapple (including juice).
Spread evenly.
Spread dry cake mix on top.
Pour melted margarine over cake mix.
Sprinkle chopped nuts.
Do not stir.
Bake at 350Β° for 1 hour.
Top with whipped cream, Cool Whip or vanilla ice cream.
