In 9 x 13-inch pan, pour pineapple (juice and all) in bottom. Spread evenly, then sprinkle coconut, nuts and brown sugar over the pineapple.
Add cake mix (dry) over that.
Top with slices of butter or magarine and bake at 350Β° for 35 to 45 minutes.
