Dried Apple Fruitcake
Dried Apple Fruitcake is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 c. butter, 2 c. sugar, 2 1/2 c. dried apples, cooked, 2 tsp. soda and 4 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Pour hot water over the raisins; let soak.
Drain well before putting in cake.
Cream butter and sugar.
Add eggs; beat well. Add dried apples and soda.
Add flour and spices.
Add preserves, candied fruit and raisins.
Last, add nuts which have been rolled in flour.
Cook at 275Β° for 3 hours.
Makes 3 or 4 layers or large tube pan.
