Dressing is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 large loaf white bread, 6 sticks celery, 1 medium onion, 1 stick margarine and 3 chicken bouillon cubes, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Break the bread into 1/2 to 1-inch pieces.

Put in pan and toast in oven; keep tossing around until all pieces are dried. Melt margarine in skillet and add celery and onion (chopped fine) and pepper.

Saute until veggies are glossy and golden (15 minutes or so).

Add seasoning, water and bouillon cubes.

Let simmer 5 minutes.

Pour mixture into bread cubes and toss until all bread is moistened (mixture should not be mushy but wet enough to stick together).

Bake in buttered, shallow baking dish at 350Β° for 50 to 60 minutes (stir several times during baking to help dry out dressing).
