Drawing Salve
Drawing Salve is an easy dinner. Made with 1/2 lb. rosin, 1/2 lb. beeswax, 1/2 lb. sheep tallow, 1 oz. gum camphor and 6 oz. soft soap (not like today's liquid hand soaps), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Melt this all together and boil for a short while.
Cool, but pour into a dark amber jar before the salve starts to set up. Cover with tight lid to keep from drying out.
This lasts for years.
Add ingredients can be purchased in an old fashioned drug store.
