Dough Bowl Biscuits
Dough Bowl Biscuits is an easy dinner. Made with 4 1/2 c. self-rising flour, 1/2 c. crisco and 1 c. buttermilk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Sift flour in bowl and make a well in center.
Take Crisco and start working it into flour gradually, adding buttermilk.
As you work the flour and Crisco, you may have to use a little more milk. When you have used all the milk, clean hands and then flour your hands well.
Knead about 4 times, then pinch a small amount off and roll in palm of hand.
Put in a greased pan and bake at 425Β° for 15 minutes or until done.
