Double Lime Chiffon Salad
Double Lime Chiffon Salad is an moderately easy salad you can prepare in about 1 hour 8 minutes. Made with (18 oz.) can crushed pineapple, (6 oz.) pkg. lime gelatin, c. boiling water, c. creamed cottage cheese and c. mayonnaise, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Drain pineapple reserving juice.
Dissolve gelatin in boiling water; add reserved juice.
Cool until slightly thickened; beat until frothy.
Fold in pineapple, cottage cheese, mayonnaise and nuts.
Place in 13 x 9-inch pan or mold.
Refrigerate until firm. Yield: servings.
