Double Chocolate Bars
Double Chocolate Bars is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 regular size german chocolate cake mix, 1/2 c. margarine or butter, melted, 1 egg, 2 c. coconut and 1 c. chocolate chips, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Mix cake mix, egg and butter.
Press evenly over the bottom of a 9 x 13-inch baking pan that has been previously well-greased. Sprinkle coconut over the first layer, then chocolate chips, then nuts.
Drizzle evenly over the sweetened condensed milk until covered.
Bake at 350Β° for 30 minutes.
Cool; cut into 24 squares. Cool completely before storing tightly in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
