Double Chocolate Bars
Double Chocolate Bars is an impressive dinner. Made with 2 rolls refrigerated chocolate chip cookie dough, 1 (15 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk, 1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips, 1/4 tsp. salt and 2 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Mix together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
Add nuts and mix well.
Melt the margarine in a large bowl in the microwave (or on top of stove); add sugar.
Cool slightly and add beaten eggs and vanilla.
To the margarine and sugar mixture, add flour mix a small amount at a time, stirring well after each addition.
Turn dough out into a greased 9 x 13-inch baking pan. Sprinkle chocolate pieces over top and bake at 350Β° for 20 to 25 minutes.
(Do not overbake.)
Cool in pan and cut into bars. Makes approximately 4 dozen.
