Dorothy's Easy Time Squares
Dorothy'S Easy Time Squares is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. butter, 1 1/2 c. sugar, 4 eggs, 1 tbsp. lemon juice and 2 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Cream butter; gradually add sugar.
Cream until light and fluffy.
Add eggs one at a time and beat well after each addition. Add lemon juice; then mix in flour gradually and well.
Pour into greased jellyroll pan.
Mark batter into 24 squares and place some filling in each square.
Bake at 350Β° for 20 minutes.
Remove. When cool, sprinkle with powdered sugar after you've cut into 24 squares.
