Doc. Icebox Rolls
Doc. Icebox Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. shortenin', 1 tsp. salt, 1 pkg. yeast, 1/2 c. boiling watah and 1/4 c. sugah, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Cream shortenin' and sugah; add salt and boilin' watah.
Beat egg and add.
Dissolve yeast in lukewarm watah.
Add flour and mix good.
Cover and put in icebox.
Make out rolls 'bout 2 hours before bakin'.
Put on a greased pan and brush with melted buttah. Let rise in a warm place.
Bake in oven at 400° to 425° til pretty light brown, 10 to 15 minutes.
