Do-Ahead Slaw
Do-Ahead Slaw is an moderately easy salad you can prepare in about 1 hour 8 minutes. Made with medium head cabbage, shredded, c. sugar, c. chopped onion, pimento stuffed olives, chopped and green pepper, chopped, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Toss cabbage, sugar, onion, olives and green pepper in a large bowl; set aside.
Boil celery seed, mustard, pepper, vinegar and oil 3 minutes.
Pour hot mixture over cabbage.
Toss well.
Cover and refrigerate 24 hours before serving.
Stir occasionally. Serves 8.
