Divinity Fudge
Divinity Fudge is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 5 c. white sugar, 1 c. white syrup, 1 1/2 c. water, 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla and 2 egg whites, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Combine sugar, water.
Bring to a rolling boil and continue boiling to 238Β°.
Let stand for 5 minutes. Beat egg whites and salt until stiff but not dry. Slowly pour syrup over egg whites continue beating until mixture becomes dull in its finish.
When loses sheen, add vanilla. Add nuts and cherries.
