Cook syrup, sugar, water, vinegar and salt (approximately 275Β°).
Cook until the mixture threads.
Slowly beat in well beaten egg whites.
Add nuts and vanilla.
Cook until thick enough to spoon.
Drop on wax paper.
Mixture hardens fast!
