Place sugar, corn syrup and water in heavy saucepan.
Over medium heat, cook to hard ball stage.
Beat egg whites until soft peaks form, about 1 minute.
Gradually add syrup in a fine stream. Reduce speed and add extract.
Continue whipping until mixture starts to become dry.
Add nuts and mix by hand until blended.
