Divinity
Divinity is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. or more pecans, 3 egg whites (room temperature), 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar, 1/2 c. water and 1/2 c. white karo, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Lightly toast two or more cups pecans and chop.
Beat egg whites and cream of tartar until stiff.
Cook water, Karo syrup and sugar until it spins a thread.
Pour half of mixture over stiffly beaten eggs.
Continue cooking until it spins a long thread.
Pour the rest in and beat.
Stir in pecans and vanilla. Drop by spoonful onto buttered cookie sheet.
