Divinity is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 c. sugar, 1 c. water, 1 c. syrup (white corn syrup), 4 egg whites and 1 tbsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Boil sugar, water and white corn syrup until hard boil stage. Pour hot mixture into stiffly beaten egg whites; continue beating on high speed of mixer.
Add vanilla and powdered sugar.
Beat until mixture loses its gloss.
Add nuts, if desired.
Pour onto marble.
Store in airtight container.
