Divinity is an easy dinner. Made with 3 c. sugar, 1 1/2 c. water, 1 box confectioners sugar and 1 c. karo syrup (white), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
π¨βπ³ Instructions
Mix and cook to soft ball stage.
While cooking, beat 2 eggs until peaks form.
Slowly pour 1/2 syrup into egg mixture while beating.
Continue beating while returning remaining syrup to cook until it spins a thin thread.
Slowly add to beating mixture.
Beat for about 10 minutes.
Add vanilla (1 teaspoon) and nuts to taste. Spoon quickly on waxed paper.
