Dividend Casserole
Dividend Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. sliced celery, 1/2 c. chopped green pepper, 1/4 c. chopped onion, 2 c. diced, cooked meat and 2 tbsp. chopped parsley, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Saute celery, green pepper and onions in margarine until tender but not brown.
Stir in meat and parsley.
Add gravy and season to taste.
Turn into casserole dish.
Combine milk with cheese; add biscuit mix and blend well.
Knead gently about 10 times on lightly floured board, roll into rectangle 1/2-inch thick.
Cut into 6 squares and place on top of meat mixture.
Bake at 400Β° until biscuits are golden.
In this casserole you can use any meat you have on hand, beef, lamb, veal or pork.
