Disappearing Cake
Disappearing Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/4 c. butter, 1/4 c. shortening, 2 c. sugar, 2 eggs and 3/4 c. hershey's cocoa, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Grease and flour 2 (9-inch) cake pans.
Cream butter, shortening, sugar and vanilla until fluffy.
Blend in eggs. Combine cocoa, flour, baking powder, soda and salt in a bowl, adding alternately with milk to batter.
Blend well.
Pour into pans.
Bake at 350Β° for 30 to 35 minutes, or until cake tests done and toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Use cocoa in your favorite frosting.
