Dirt Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/4 lb. oreo cookies, pressed into crumbs, 8 oz. cream cheese, 1/2 stick margarine, 1 c. powdered sugar and 2 pkg. instant vanilla pudding, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Prepare two packages of vanilla pudding and mix with cheese, margarine and sugar mixture.
Fold 12 ounces whipped topping into this mixture.
Starting with the cookie crumbs, layer in deep dish or plastic flower pot; layer of crumbs, layer of pudding mix, layer of crumbs, etc., ending with a layer of crumbs on top. Refrigerate overnight before serving.
