Dirt
Dirt is an easy dinner. Made with 1 pkg. chocolate sandwich cookies, 2 c. cold milk, 1 pkg. chocolate flavored instant pudding, 1 tub cool whip and decorations (such as gummy worms, candy flowers, chopped peanuts or granola), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Put the cookies into a zipper style plastic bag. Close the bag tightly.
Use a rolling pin to crush the cookies until they are as fine as "dirt."
Pour milk into a large bowl.
Add pudding mix. Beat with wire whisk 1 to 2 minutes until well blended.
Let stand 5 minutes.
Stir in whipped topping and 1/2 of the crushed cookies.
Place 1 tablespoon crushed cookies into cups. Fill cups about 3/4 full with pudding mixture. Top with remaining crushed cookies.
Refrigerate 1 hour.
Plant gummy worms or other candy creatures into the cups of "dirt."
