Dilly Bread
Dilly Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 pkg. dry yeast, 1/4 c. hot water, 1 c. cream-style cottage cheese, 1 tbsp. butter and 1 egg, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Mix yeast and hot water; let stand 10 minutes.
Mix cottage cheese with butter.
Heat to very warm.
Mix with yeast; add egg, sugar, salt, onion, soda, dill seed and flour.
Go by stiffness of dough; you may add more flour.
Let rise until double in size. Knead down.
Put in loaf pan.
Let rise again.
Bake 45 minutes at 350Β°.
Remove from pan.
Brush with butter.
