Dill Pickles
Dill Pickles is an easy dinner. Made with 1 tsp. powdered alum, 1 qt. water (no treated or chlorine water), 1 c. cider vinegar, 1/4 c. canning or clean stock salt and grape leaves (may be used for crispness), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Put into a large kettle and bring to boil.
Fill jars with cucumbers as desired and dill (may be dried or fresh).
Garlic or hot peppers may be added also as taste desires.
Pour boiling liquid over cucumbers.
Fill jars to neck and seal.
