Dill Pickles
Dill Pickles is an moderately easy dinner you can prepare in about 1 hour 38 minutes. Made with cucumbers, garlic cloves, salt, qt. vinegar and dill, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Select fresh even cucumbers.
Wash and cut ends off.
Place dill in jar and clove of garlic.
(If you wish you can use hot peppers.)
Pack in sterilized jars.
Add 3 level teaspoons of salt in each jar.
Boil 1 quart vinegar and 3 quarts water.
Pour hot over pickles and seal.
Put in cold packer, starting with cold water.
When water comes to a boil, remove jars.
Let stand 4 weeks before eating.
