Dill Pickles
Dill Pickles is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 qt. vinegar, 3 qt. water, 1/2 c. salt, 1/4 tsp. alum and 1/4 tsp. turmeric, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Place fresh dill (couple of sprigs) in bottom of quart jar. Closely pack cucumbers in jars.
Heat vinegar, water, salt and all spices and green pepper to a full boil for 5 minutes.
Pour over cucumbers in jars.
Reserve any remaining solution.
