Dill Carrots
Dill Carrots is an moderately easy dinner. Made with desired amount of carrots cut in strips, 1 c. white vinegar, 1 tsp. salt, 2 tbsp. sugar and 1 tsp. dill weed or 2 tbsp. of fresh dill, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Boil carrots until just tender.
Make mixture of vinegar, salt, sugar, and dill weed and soak carrots for several hours or overnight. Drop carrots into this mixture while still hot. Before serving, remove carrots, reserving liquid.
Serve on a dish with a sprinkling of the parsley.
Also the reserved liquid may be used again.
