Different Chicken Pie
Different Chicken Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (2 1/2 or 3 lb.) chicken, cooked and boned, 1 stalk celery, 1/2 c. or 1 stick oleo, melted, 1 c. flour and 1 tbsp. cooking powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Put boned chicken in casserole.
Put chopped celery over chicken.
Pour melted oleo over chicken and celery.
Mix flour and dry ingredients with the milk.
Pour flour mixture over chicken. Mix cream of celery soup with 1/4 cup chicken stock.
Pour over chicken.
Bake at 425Β° for 50 minutes.
Serve with green beans and corn.
