Diet Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c nuts chopped, 1 1/2 c dates chopped, 1 c raisins, 2 tbsp butter and 3/4 tsp soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Place all in bowl except flour and wheat germ.
Pour 1 c boiling water over all and stir well.
Add the flour and wheat germ and mix well.
Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until done.
