Devil's Food Cake
Devil'S Food Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3/4 c. butter or margarine, softened, 1 1/2 c. sugar, 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla, 2 eggs and 1 3/4 c. unsifted all-purpose flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.

Cream butter, sugar and vanilla in large mixer bowl until light and fluffy.
Add eggs; beat well.
Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt; add alternately with buttermilk to creamed mixture.
Add boiling water; beat until smooth.
Pour into waxed paper-lined 13 x 9-inch pan.
Bake at 350Β° for 35 to 40 minutes or until cake tester comes out clean.
Cool 10 minutes; remove cake from pan.
Cool completely. Frost as desired.
