Denny's Twinkie Cake

Beat the eggs well.
Gradually add the sugar, salt and vanilla to eggs.
Heat the milk and butter to boiling.
Add milk to first mixture and blend.
Add the flour and baking powder.
Bake at 350Β° for 35 to 40 minutes in a wax paper lined 9 x 13-inch pan.
When cool, remove from pan.
Slice cake in half horizontally.
