Beat eggs.
Add sugar and oil and beat well.
Mix dry ingredients and add alternately with buttermilk.
Add nuts, prunes and vanilla and bake at 350Β° for 30 minutes.
Remove from oven and poke cake full of holes with a fork and pour the topping over the cake hot and spread.
