Delicious Coffee Cake
Delicious Coffee Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. shortening, 3/4 c. sugar, 1 tsp. vanilla, 3 eggs and 2 c. sifted flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Cream shortening, sugar and vanilla.
Add eggs singly, beating well after each addition.
Sift flour, baking powder and soda together.
Add to creamed mixture, alternately with sour cream, blending after each addition.
Spread 1/2 of batter in a 10-inch tube pan that has been lined with waxed paper.
Cream margarine, brown sugar and cinnamon together.
Add nuts and mix well.
Dot batter in pan evenly with 1/2 of nut mixture.
Cover with remaining batter.
Dot with remaining mixture.
Bake at 350Β° for about 40 minutes.
Cool in pan for 10 minutes before removing.
