Delicious Cake
Delicious Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. shortening, 2 c. flour, 2 tsp. baking powder, 1/2 tsp. salt and 2 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
π¨βπ³ Instructions
Cook mincemeat with 1/2 cup water.
Stir well, cooking until mix is almost dry (3 minutes).
Cool and set aside.
Mix shortening and dry ingredients into bowl.
Add eggs, syrup and 1/4 cup water; beat 2 minutes.
Add cooled mincemeat, beating 1 minute more.
Bake in 8-inch square pan or tube pan.
Bake at 350Β° for 50 to 60 minutes.
Top with powdered sugar and water glaze with slivered almonds.
Very moist cake, spicy a He Man cake.
