Deer Path Salad
Deer Path Salad is an easy dinner. Made with 1 large can crushed pineapple, 1 pkg. gelatin, unflavored, 1/2 c. sugar, 8 oz. cream cheese and 2 c. cool whip, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Drain juice from 1 large can crushed pineapple, save 1/4 cup liquid.
Add 1/4 cup juice to 1 envelope of unflavored gelatin. Add 1/2 cup of sugar to pineapple.
Stir and boil for 5 minutes. Remove from heat.
Add gelatin mixture.
Break 8 ounces cream cheese into mixture.
Stir until cream cheese is nearly melted. Add 2 cups Cool Whip.
Mix well and pour into mold or square pan. Set until firm.
Can be made 2 to 3 days ahead.
