Deer Jerky
Deer Jerky is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 lb. deer meat (may substitute beef), sliced in 1/8 or less strips, 3/4 tsp. seasoned salt, 1/2 tsp. garlic powder, 1/2 tsp. black pepper and 1/2 tsp. onion powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Place the deer meat in a large container.
Mix all ingredients well, except deer meat.
Pour over meat; mix well.
Marinate overnight; stir once or twice.
Place meat on toothpicks.
Hang on racks in oven.
Put foil on bottom rack and bend up in back.
Bake at 200Β° for 5 hours.
