Decorating Frosting
Decorating Frosting is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. crisco shortening, 4 c. sifted powdered sugar, 1/2 tsp. clear vanilla, 1/4 tsp. butter flavor and 1/2 tsp. almond flavor, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Mix shortening and flavorings until fluffy.
Stir in powdered sugar, one cup at a time (this will be very stiff).
Mix in milk or water.
Beat until fluffy.
Frosting may be tinted to any color.
This is a very good frosting for decorating cakes or cookies.
Store in refrigerator up to two weeks.
Frosting may be doubled if you use a heavy duty mixer.
