Decorating Cake Icing is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c.crisco, 2 lb. powdered sugar, 1/2 c. water, food coloring (if desired) and 1 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Cream Crisco.
Add powdered sugar and water alternately.
Mix well.
Add flavoring.
Mix well.
Add food coloring, if desired. (Paste food coloring works the best.)
If the humidity is high, you may have to add a little more powdered sugar or icing will be too watery.
