Decadent Chocolate Cake
Decadent Chocolate Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 pkg. chocolate cake mix with pudding, 1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate morsels, divided, 1/2 c. apricot brandy, 1/2 c. apricot preserves and 3/4 c. sour cream, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Prepare cake mix according to directions.
Stir in 1 cup chocolate morsels.
Pour into two greased and floured 9-inch round cake pans.
Bake at 350Β° for 30 minutes or until done.
Remove layers and let cool.
Brush brandy over layers.
Spread preserves between cake layers.
Melt remaining morsels, stirring frequently. Remove from heat; gradually stir in sour cream, blending well. Spread frosting on cake.
Sprinkle with pecans.
Cover and chill.
