Date Roll Candy
Date Roll Candy is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. sugar, 2 tbsp. butter, 1 c. milk, 1 c. chopped nuts and 1 1/2 c. chopped dates, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
π¨βπ³ Instructions
Combine sugar, salt, milk and butter.
Boil until sugar is dissolved.
Add dates and stir constantly until soft ball occurs when tested in a cup of water.
Remove from fire and cool.
Beat until creamy and thick; add nuts, mixing thoroughly.
Pour onto cold wet cloth and knead until smooth.
Shape into roll and chill until firm.
Cut into thin slices.
