Date Nut Torte is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 eggs, 1 c. sugar, 1 c. dry bread crumbs, 1 tsp. baking powder and 2 c. chopped dates, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Beat eggs.
Beat in 1 cup sugar.
Mix fine bread crumbs and baking powder.
Stir into egg and sugar mixture.
Stir in dates (finely cut and finely sprinkled with sugar to keep from sticking) and walnuts.
Spread in well-greased (or Pam sprayed) 9-inch square pan.
Bake until set at 350Β° about 35 minutes.
Serve plain, frosted or with ice cream.
