Date Nut Candy
Date Nut Candy is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. sugar, 1 c. evaporated milk, 1 c. nuts, chopped, 4 tbsp. butter and 1 pkg. chopped dates, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Cook sugar, milk and butter until it forms a soft ball.
Lower heat.
Add dates and stir until most have dissolved.
Remove from heat and beat 3 minutes.
Add vanilla and nuts.
Pour into buttered pan.
Let stand 1 hour or more.
