Date Nut Candy
Date Nut Candy is an easy dinner. Made with 2 c. sugar, 1 stick margarine, 1 small can carnation milk, 1 (8 oz.) pkg. dates, chopped and 1 c. pecans, chopped, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

π¨βπ³ Instructions
Mix sugar, margarine, milk and dates in saucepan; cook until thick or makes a ball in cold water.
Beat until it begins to get thicker.
Add pecans and beat some more.
When it gets so thick you cannot beat it, put in a damp cloth and roll it up.
Let set for at least 2 hours, then slice into pieces.
