Date Nut Cake
Date Nut Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. dates, chopped, 1 lb. pecans, chopped, 1 c. flour, 1 c. sugar and 2 tsp. baking powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
👨🍳 Instructions
Preheat oven to 300° to 325°.
Have loaf pan ready.
Mix dates and pecans.
Sift dry ingredients and add to dates and pecans.
Mix well (it's easier to use your hands).
Add cherries, pineapple, vanilla and beaten eggs.
Bake in loaf pan in slow oven (300° to 325°) for 1 1/2 hours.
