Date Nut Cake
Date Nut Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 boxes dates (1 large, 1 small), 2 c. sugar, 2 eggs, 2 c. boiling water and 3 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
👨🍳 Instructions
Dissolve soda in hot water and pour over dates.
Let stand 10 minutes.
Add chopped nuts to cake mixture.
Make a stiff batter. Pour in loaf pan and bake in slow oven at 300° to 350°.
