Date Nut Cake
Date Nut Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. plus 2 tbsp. flour, 1 1/2 c. sugar, 3 tsp. baking powder, 1 tsp. salt and 1/2 c. crisco, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Sift dry ingredients together, add Crisco, milk and vanilla; beat 2 minutes.
Add 2 eggs and beat 2 minutes more.
Mix in thoroughly, dates and nuts.
Put into pans that have been greased and floured.
Bake at 350Β° for 35 to 45 minutes.
