Date Nut Cake
Date Nut Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3/4 stick margarine, 1 c. sugar, 4 eggs, separated, 1 tsp. vanilla and 1 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Cream margarine, sugar, egg yolks and vanilla.
Sift flour, baking powder and salt.
Roll nuts and dates in flour mixture. Beat egg whites until stiff and add to other ingredients.
Put in greased loaf pan.
Bake at 300Β° for 1 hour.
Serves 8 to 10.
