Beat eggs light.
Flour dates with 1 cup flour. Beat sugar and eggs together.
Add the 2 cups flour, then rest of ingredients.
Use enough nuts, use 2 tablespoons shortening.
275Β° about 1 hour and 10 minutes if using 3 small pans.
Cook longer if using large pan.
