Date Nut Bread
Date Nut Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 pkg. dates (small size), 1 1/2 c. water, 2 tsp. baking soda, 2 1/4 c. flour (all-purpose) and 1/4 tsp. baking powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Cut dates into small pieces and let stand in boiling water with baking soda while mixing dry ingredients.
Add melted butter and well beaten egg.
Last add the water with dates, nuts and vanilla.
Mix thoroughly until well blended.
Bake in well-greased 9 x 5 x 2-inch bread pan for 1 hour and 10 minutes at 350Β°.
