Date Nut Bread
Date Nut Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. pitted dates, 1 1/2 c. boiling water, 2 tbsp. butter, 1 1/4 c. sugar and 1 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Cut dates in quarters; pour hot water, butter, sugar and salt. Cool.
Sift flour and soda and add.
Add eggs and nuts.
Beat all together.
Put into bread dish (9 x 5 x 3-inch).
Bake in 350Β° oven for 1 hour to 1 hour and 15 minutes until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Make into sandwiches with cream cheese, a real treat.
